Discipline Construction

In the Land engineering subject construction area, Jichang Han and his research team, first proposed and promoted the land engineering subject should be studied as the first class applied subject. This also wide acknowledged by other experts. He also published the book 《Instruction to Land Engineering》, which systematically described basic of the land engineering subject, study methods, theory and engineering design method, laid the foundation for the Land engineering future development.

 
Land engineering is used to solve land problems by engineering method. Also it could raise the efficiency of the land use and promote the harmonious development between land and human kind. In land engineering research, study of soil reformation is the core mission, which could provide “heath” land for crops grow and human settlement.


For promotion for the land engineering technology creation, driving the development of the land engineering, developing the key study of land resource, cultivating high-end talent of land engineering, our group cooperated with Chang’an university setting-up the land engineering college. Meanwhile we have aligned with MIT to co-build the MIT Industrial Liaison Program Xi’an innovation center.

Jichang Han was born in Dec 1966, Shaanxi Weinan. Hold the engineering Ph.D, senior land engineer, land economy researcher (Technical Level 2). Awarded special allowance by state council, named as Shaanxi outstanding contribution expert, Shaanxi “new century Sanwu talent project” first class candidate, Shaanxi Key area top talent, the Ministry of Land “Eleventh Five-Year plan” technology and international cooperation advanced individual; on 2013 nominated as Chinese Academy of engineering candidate. Now he is appointed as the executive director and general manager of Shaanxi province land engineering construction group, also hired as director of Chang’an university land engineering college, director of the Key Laboratory for degraded and non-utilized land reclamation named by the Ministry of Land and Resources, director of Shaanxi land reclamation technology research center, director of postdoctoral research workstation. One of the member of evaluation group of senior engineering.


He directed and completed the book <Shaanxi LuBuTan Stalinization Land comprehensive reclamation and harmonious ecology pattern study and practice>, which honored as 2009 Shaanxi technology & technical the first prize, <Shaanxi village abandoned homestead comprehensive reclamation technical and 20 years practice> which honored as 2010 Shaanxi technology & technical the second prize, <Sanmen reservoir (Huayin part) land reclamation and modern high efficient agriculture high speed development model study>, which honored as 2012 Shaanxi technology & technical second the prize, <salinization soil abatement technical study and demonstrations>, which honored as 2012 Shaanxi agriculture technology promotion the first prize, <Research on the Core Technology of Remixing Soil by Soft Rock and  Sand in the Maowusu Sand Land Region and example project>, which honored as 2012 Shaanxi science & technology the first prize, <Maowusu Sand Land Sand-fixation and reclamation technology apply study and its ecology effect>, which honored as 2014 science & technology first prize acknowledge by the Ministry of land.


He published more than 60 thesis on core journals, has 6 patents for invention and 2 patents for utility models, 4 software copyrights.
